Walls was simply a chance for me to show my immediate family that I had a hobby of writing and recording songs. I decided to take a few years worth of song scraps and piece them together and re-record songs for a gift I could give all of them in time for the holidays. I remember writing most of the songs (especially "Fighting Emptiness") while I was struggling through the High School experience.
