Mage of Seasons

    We did this game for a competition (YoYo Games "Winter" contest, 2007) We didn't make the top 3, probably because we ran out of time to do some beta testing and tweaking for bugs.  We did, however make the honorable mention list... which IS quite honorable considering the large number of contestants. 
    Months after the contest, Jacob went back and fixed the bugs, also adding a save feature and so on.

   Mage of Seasons is a cartoon-style RPG game where you play as a mage sent from Trisus, the kingdom that sends mages into the rest of the world to battle darkness.  The land of Denill is where your quest takes place. 
    The game was only created through the first stage, where you first need to rescue a snow creature, "Roosh", that becomes an ally.  After this, you can defeat the first of the curse-causing Iskan, in order to restore Rebo his strength.  Filled with the power to wield his axe once more, Rabo will clear the path so that you can travel to the next stage; which was never created.
