Isles of Keo
-Game Projects-
The Isles of Keo series is what we
consider our "brain child". At this point, we're creating the
first game of the series, each of which are classified into "books".
Book 1: The Zegoro Curse
There is a curse among the civilized Zaro
robots that is creeping across Keo, changing
them into terrible
machines called Zegoro. The single Mezorg capable of causing this
transformation is named Surgi Han. Surgi is using the Zegoro curse to cause all Zaro
to become loyal to he and his Mezorg brothers, bent on transforming
Keo's culture and makeup to that of their own world.
From humble beginnings, in the small Zaro village
of Nal'Umis, a hero will arise, chosen by the true King of Keo, to
recover an artifact, Tinuma. This amulet will enable loyal Zaro to survive the
fiery flood of the coming Rial Storm. This storm will destroy all
mechanical or alien life forms and empower all natural life forms in the
process. Along the way, the hero learns the origin of the Zaro:
they were once seven different fleshed races of unique form and powerful
abilities.
Book 2: The Factory
Sci-fi elements of the Keoan embryo
are explained as the hero collects them and finds the Zaro tools (and
vaega) to turn them into Zaro. This "seed library" is guarded by
the Mezorg Felcose and his horde made of brainwashed native monsters. After claiming these unborn lives and creating Zaro hosts for
them, each leader of Nal'Umis appoints two leaders of their district to
take these new Zaro and start new towns.
Book 3: The Keoan Temple
The Rial Storm has reawakened
the true but dangerous nature of the once robot-governed planet.
In order for the remaining Zaro to survive, they must adapt by also
returning to their true forms. Following the voice of the Ancient
King, the hero travels to Kolondria Isle, where the Keoan Temple lies in
ruins. Inside this once-throne room of Keo's divine King, lies the
secret to empowering and transforming the Zaro into their Keoan
forms.
With the help of a small camp of allies, this chosen Zaro
must battle through the infestation of monsters to reclaim the throne
for the forgotten Kingdom. The Mezorg King, named Gellas Gei, has
inhabited this dominion, controlling a particular troop of minions who
guard the land and create mazes of dark, acid-seeping vines.
Book 3:
The Keoan Temple has been reclaimed.
(out of time for now)
In order to use rial-charged weapons and rial itself, the Dija have to create rial-run bodies next. They become outcasts to the other Zaro afterwards. These new bodies loose the glow from vaega.
